Poetry Corner: In Minds Alike

In minds alike,

I was fed.

I was spooned.

I was led.

Over the moon.

Breathless with laughter,

My brain almost ached

With the constant hunger.

No more puckered lips

No more swinging hips

No more shopping trips

Just a little mind slip

Into a shared world,

Familiar universe.

In minds alike,

I was fed.

I was spooned.

I was led.

I was full.

I was loved.

I was understood.

We were of one mind

And so alike.
